劉潔儀博士 - 臨床心理學家

Dr. Jennifer Lau has completed her Doctorate and Masters in Clinical Psychology program at California School of Professional Psychology and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA. She is a registered clinical psychologist of Hong Kong Association of Doctors in Clinical Psychology (HKADCP) and New Zealand Psychologists Board (NZPD), registered psychological of Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and member of American Psychological Association (APA).

Jennifer specializes in conducting psychoeducational assessments with children. She also works therapeutically with children, adolescents, parents, and families presenting with psychological issues and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability, and Specific Learning Difficulties. Jennifer believes that children communicate extensively via behavior, art, and play. She offers client-centered approach and is passionate in helping children to reach their full potentials in life.

Prior to her role at SPOT, Jennifer completed her training at the Nesbitt Centre and Dr. Tung Psychiatric Clinic. She was a research assistant at the Emotion Regulation Laboratory at UCLA and UCLA Middle School Diversity Project. Jennifer is particularly concerned with the mental health of foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong. Her thesis investigates different types of traumatization in this population.

Jennifer is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
