Boys Social with Dr. Jennifer

The boys group focuses on social coping skills, conflicts resolution and leadership. An example of which includes guidance on how one can pay attention to their peers when conducting a conversation to maintain interest. Interpretations would be made to help the child navigate the emotional conflicts associated with managing different expectations in real time.

General concerns: Socialization, Problem-Solving, Turn-Taking, Team Work, Emotional Expression, Stress Handling, Self-Esteem, Giftedness.

The group provides a safe environment for individuals to share their thoughts and tensions about the week and receive support and guidance from their peers and the therapist.

Where? SPOT One Island South Unit 1021-1025, One Island South, 2 Heung Yip Road, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong
When? Fridays at 4:00pm-4:50pm
How much? 1000HKD per session (group) / 1550HKD per session (pair). Please note that the online credit card payment will incur an extra 4% handling fee. Please call the clinic if you would like to make a bank transfer.
Ages 6-9 years.

The Boys Social will be run by Dr. Jennifer Lau (Clinical Psychologist).

Please note:
Payment for group must be made in full prior to first session. Mandatory attendance on first session. In order to maintain the group numbers consistency, there will be no refund or make up sessions offered unless a doctor’s certificate is provided.
