SPOT Study Hall now offers a place where teens can get tailored help and support them through the stresses of school. Study Hall is especially designed for teens struggling to cope with the demands of online learning, who may have learning difficulties and/or anxiety.
Study Hall will take place with a certified tutor (supervised by an accredited educational psychologist). Each session is designed for specific problems that teenagers are struggling with today. Teens can join in on all of the sessions, or join select sessions that address a particular issue or topic.
Study Hall topics include: gaining awareness of our study habits, combating procrastination, overcoming fear or failure, time management, relaxation techniques and more. Following this, teens will get individualised help in their studies, and will have opportunities to ask questions, evaluate, and meet other like-minded teens to create a solid support system with the support and guidance of a certified tutor and counsellor.
