Arcadia has an education background in BSc Psychology at the University of Essex, a degree accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). She later returned to Hong Kong and contributed to various clinical and non-clinical research projects at the University of Hong Kong. Besides collecting and analysing data, she was further trained to provide brief counselling to research participants. Her role as a clinical research assistant centred on working with individuals presenting symptoms of anxiety and depression. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Arcadia engages in voluntary work, offering mental health support and facilitating playgroup services for the children of individuals undergoing mental recovery at a local charitable organization.
Arcadia is passionate about mental health and believes in SPOT’s personalised and multidisciplinary approach to clients. At SPOT, Arcadia assists in conducting psychoeducational and social communication assessments with children under the supervision of clinical psychologists. She also co-facilitates some of SPOT’s therapy groups.
