Ivy gained a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of East Anglia in the UK and is registered as an Occupational Therapist with both the Supplementary Medical Professions Council of Hong Kong and the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) in the United Kingdom. Ivy has experience working in a variety of settings whether it be clinics, hospitals, NGOs, and community centres for both physical and mental health in support of individuals across the lifespan. Her multi-model approach is culturally-sensitive, she understands and embraces the challenges that arise from transitional periods in individual’s lives and adapting to new environments. Originating from Macau, she has been a global resident having lived in many different places: Indonesia, China, Singapore, and so forth.

Ivy believes that there’s no ceiling to learning new skills and about yourself. She continuously trains and studies new approaches that encourage individuals independence, motivation and purposeful living. Discovering the world through the eyes of your child is the key to unlocking their potential. It is an ongoing collaborative effort with the family and significant others to best support a child’s development.

俞貞瑩小姐畢業於英國東安格利亞大學的職業治療學(榮譽)理學士學位。她獲得英國及香港的執業資格,為兩地依法註冊的職業治療師。她能以英語、普通話、粵語和福建話四種語言交流。

俞貞瑩小姐在大學期間曾於醫院、診所,非政府機構及社區實習工作,其中在急症、康復治療、精神以及心理治療等領域,為不同年齡層提供職業治療服務。

俞貞瑩小姐來自澳門,但曾在許多不同的地方生活,例如:印度尼西亞、福建、新加坡等地。因此,她理解孩子在面臨新環境以及經歷不同過渡期時所帶來的挑戰。她會運用多元及彈性的治療模式為孩子制定最適切他們的治療方案。

俞貞瑩小姐堅信學無止境,畢業後她一直持續進修增進自己及參與專業培訓。她相信治療的關鍵是能夠與孩子建立連結,以孩子的視角出發,協助他們發掘他們的潛力。

為了支持孩子的持續發展,治療師與家人朋友們的溝通及合作在治療中也是不可缺乏的一環。 俞貞瑩小姐希望能透過治療提高孩子的獨立性以及做事的動力,和他們一起創造一個有色彩的人生。
