BSc Physiotherapy (University of Bradford, UK)
Wesley completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at University of Bradford, United Kingdom in 2019. After graduating, Wesley started his career in Hospital Authority and had worked in diverse settings, including Outpatient clinics, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Paediatrics. He was also involved in providing developmental milestones screeners for premature babies in the neonatal clinic.
Throughout the paediatric and neonatal rotation, Wesley had provided care to a variety of children and adolescents with different conditions , including cerebral palsy, premature birth, developmental delays and paediatric fractures. Wesley’s wide range of experience and knowledge had allowed him to quickly spot the main challenges the children may be facing. He mainly focuses on addressing functional impairments, such as muscle tones, strength, coordination, balance and posture, mobility and optimising range of motion.
Wesley is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. He strongly believes that collaborating with all parties is essential in helping the children the thrive and grow. With this in mind, he had been working closely with different healthcare professions in the multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, doctors and nurses. Moreover, Wesley also loves to work closely with parents and carers to ensure the child has the most optimal support back home.
Outside of work, Wesley enjoys playing tennis, badminton and basketball. He also likes playing board games and the Pokemon series. Most importantly, he loves spending quality time with his wife.
