This group is designed for children with dyslexia and literacy delays. The group will provide an explicit and structured literacy approach using the Orton-Gillingham program and following the International Dyslexia guidelines based on evidence-based practise.
Orton-Gillingham is a multisensory structured literacy approach for students of all ages, who struggle in reading, writing and spelling. Children will participate in games and activities specifically designed for their literacy levels.
Although Orton-Gillingham instruction benefits all students, it is especially helpful for children with dyslexia, auditory processing, memory, reading and language difficulties.
