DESCRIPTION:Practicing social skills is usually most successful within situations that are meaningful and internally motivating for a child. Interaction and practice with other children who share interests with your child are likely to increase the enjoyment of engaging with others. \nAreas of Focus include:\n– Body awareness and personal space\n– Visual strategies\n– Verbal strategies\n– Turn taking and sharing\n– Appropriate play choices \nDetails:\nWhere? SPOT One Island South\, 10/F\, Unit 1021-25\, 2 Heung Yip Road\, Wong Chuk Hang\nWhen? Mondays from 5:00pm-5:50pm\nHow much? $900 per session\nAges 5-7 years. \nThe group will be run by Dianna Lam (Speech Therapist) and Melody Cheng (Occupational Therapist). \nPlease note:\nA minimum of 6 sessions must be paid in advance. We do not offer refunds\, unused sessions will be held as credit for future use. For illness with less than 24 hours’ notice\, a doctor’s note is required to receive credit. Note that credit applies to planned absences\, but same-day cancellations are not eligible.
