DESCRIPTION:This summer\, get ready to think\, plan\, and build together in Builder’s Blueprint — a small-group programme led by Occupational Therapists Beanie and Crystal. Designed for children who would benefit from support in executive functioning skills\, this hands-on group focuses on collaborative project-based learning. Over the course of the week\, children will work in a team to complete three exciting multi-step building projects using different materials. Each project is carefully structured to guide participants through the full process of thinking\, organizing\, drafting\, planning\, and executing as a group — all while having fun and building confidence. \nAreas of Focus:\n– Executive functioning skills: project planning\, organizing materials and steps\, drafting ideas\, and group execution\n– Collaborative problem-solving and flexible thinking\n– Teamwork\, communication\, and shared decision-making\n– Planning and sequencing multi-step tasks\n– Sustaining attention and adapting plans when challenges arise \nActivities include three different large-scale group projects such as:\n– Designing and constructing a cardboard spacecraft\n– Building a fantasy castle or themed fort with towers\, bridges\, and working elements\n– Engineering a marble run or obstacle course that the whole group can test and improve together\n \nDetails:\nWhere?
