DESCRIPTION:Practicing social skills is usually most successful within situations that are meaningful and internally motivating for a child. Interactions and practise with other children who share similar interests are likely to increase the enjoyment of engaging with others. \n\nAreas of Focus include:\n– Turn-taking and Sharing\n– Collaborative Work and Play\n– Initiating and Maintaining Conversations\n– Understanding Non-verbal Communication\n– Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution\n– Self-advocating \nDetails:\nWhere? SPOT Central\, 14/F\, 1402 China Building\, 29 Queen’s Road Central\nWhen? Fridays from 5:10pm to 5:50pm\nHow much? $6\,600HKD for 11 sessions.\nMaximum 6 children. Ages 6-9 years. \n\n\nThe group will be run by Abi Chan (Speech and Language Therapist). \nPlease Note:\nWe do not offer refunds\, unused sessions will be held as credit for future use. For illness with less than 24 hours’ notice\, a doctor’s note is required to receive credit. Note that credit applies to planned absences\, but same-day cancellations are not eligible. \n\n\n \n
