DESCRIPTION:Literacy begins early in life\, and plays a very important role in a child’s development. It is the foundation of reading\, writing\, socialising with others and developing independence. Summer Read-A-Lot is more than just reading. Led by Speech-Language Therapist and Orton-Gillingham trained\, Abi Chan\, this camp aims to make reading and writing fun by adding in summer-related games and activities. Come join us for some summer fun! \n\nAreas of Focus:\n– Phonological awareness\n– Letter-sound knowledge\n– Vocabulary Learning\n– Shared reading\n– Shared writing \nDetails:\nWhere? SPOT Central\, 17/F\, Wing’s Building\, 110-116 Queen’s Road Central\, Central\nWhen? Monday August 4 to Friday August 8 at 9:00am to 10:30am for 4-6 year olds & at 10:45am to 12:15pm for 6-8 year olds\nHK$5\,750 per group (5 sessions) \nPlease note:\nPayment for group must be made in full prior to first session. In order to maintain the group numbers consistency\, there will be no refund or make up sessions offered unless a doctor’s certificate is provided. \n \n
