DESCRIPTION:Social experiences that are internally motivating and meaningful for the child often offer the best opportunity to learn and practice social skills. Interactions through conversations\, sharing and games with other children are likely to increase enjoyment in engaging and exploring with others. \nAreas of Focus include:\n– Following and staying with the group plan\n– Turn-taking skills and sharing\n– Getting someone’s attention\n– Body awareness and personal space\n– Understanding how our words and actions affect others\n– Frustration tolerance\n– Using our words rather than actions when we feel big feelings\n– Conversational skills (turn-taking and maintaining topics)\n– Increasing confidence \nDetails:\nWhere? SPOT One Island South\, 1021-25 One Island South\, 2 Heung Yip Road\, Wong Chuk Hang\nWhen? Saturdays at 2:00-2:50pm (run by Joyce Yan in English language)\nHow much? 750HKD for group session\nAges 5-7 years old. \nPlease Note:\nA minimum of 6 sessions must be paid in advance. We do not offer refunds\, unused sessions will be held as credit for future use. For illness with less than 24 hours’ notice\, a doctor’s note is required to receive credit. Note that credit applies to planned absences\, but same-day cancellations are not eligible. \n \n
