Get ready for a multisensory adventure with Sense Explorers! In this playful, therapist-led camp, children will explore the seven sensory systems\u2014visual, auditory, tactile, smell, taste, vestibular, and proprioceptive\u2014through creative, hands-on activities.<\/p>\n

Each session supports the development of sensory processing, self-awareness, and emotional regulation by helping children understand how sensory input affects their arousal level and how to return to a calm and alert state\u2014ideal for learning, playing, and connecting with others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Throughout the week, children will learn to recognize changes in their arousal, explore strategies that help them feel \u201cjust right,\u201d and build a personalized sensory toolbox they can use in everyday routines. By the end of the program, they\u2019ll feel more confident, regulated, and in control of their bodies across a variety of settings.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>– Exploring sensory activities that help regulate arousal and support attention, calm, or alertness
\n– Encouraging independent use of calming\/alerting strategies to improve participation in daily life and key occupations
\n– Developing awareness of the 7 sensory systems and individual sensory preferences
\n– Building self-regulation and emotional control through sensory exploration
\n– Creating a personalized sensory toolbox for daily use
\n– Supporting body awareness, postural control, and engagement in group routines<\/p>\n

\nWhere? SPOT One Island South, 10\/F Unit 1021-25, 2 Heung Yip Road, Wong Chuk Hang
\nWhen? Monday July 21 to Friday July 25 at 10:00am to 11:30am for 5-7 year olds & at 1:00pm to 2:30pm for 8-10 year olds
\nHow much? HK$5,750 per camp (5 sessions).<\/p>\n

The group will be run by Occupational Therapist Harriet Kan<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong>
\nPayment for group must be made in full prior to first session. In order to maintain the group numbers consistency, there will be no refund or make up sessions offered unless a doctor\u2019s certificate is provided.<\/p>\n
