Bree gained her Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Sydney, Australia where she specialized in hand therapy and paediatrics. She has over 17 years paediatric experience in multiple settings.

Following graduation Bree developed skills assessing and treating complex cases in rural India. From 2005- 2006 Bree worked at Sydney Children’s Hospital working with children with dyspraxia, ADHD, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and children recovering from orthopaedic surgery.

In 2006 Bree moved to the UK where she worked at Fairley House, a specialist day school for children with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. Bree’s experience at Fairley House motivated her to gain her qualification in teaching children with Specific Learning Disorders (SpLD). In 2010 Bree completed further training in Sensory Integration (SIPT) and established a sensory gymnasium at the school.

Bree developed a leading reputation in the UK as a specialist paediatric therapist and for five years managed a successful private practice in London in addition to her work at Fairley House. Bree lectured on the paediatric module at Oxford Brookes University. She was often invited to speak at conferences including the annual conference of The Royal Society of Medicine Paediatrics & Child Health UK.

Bree moved to Hong Kong in 2014 for a year and worked at SPOT supporting the team to develop the Learning Profile Assessment pathway, before moving to Jakarta for 2 years.

Bree has always worked closely with families and strongly believes that treatment is most effective when the therapist, family and teachers work closely together.

Bree returned to Hong Kong in 2017 before becoming Managing Director. She believes SPOT is outstanding due to it’s highly specialised, evidence-based approach and the exceptional facilities that are on offer for children and their families.
