Charlene completed her Master’s degree in Speech Therapy at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is a certified practicing member of the Hong Kong Association of Speech Therapists. She holds certifications in Attention Autism and Lego-Based Therapy and has received training for DIR Floortime 101.
Charlene has experience working in private clinics, NGOs, and schools in Hong Kong. Her experience has taught her that close collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals allows for the most impact and progress for individuals. Charlene employs a fun, engaging and child-centered approach to motivate children and help them experience success in achieving their individual goals. She believes in putting together evidence with practical solutions to meet clients where they are at. Her main areas of clinical interest include articulation and phonology, language delays, and working on social communication with children with autism spectrum disorder.
She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
