Sarah has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults within clinical, educational and community organisations for over 10 years. Originally from Australia, Sarah has been living in Hong Kong since 2014. Sarah is a registered member of the Hong Kong Society of Counselling and Psychology.
Sarah follows a person-centred approach and aims to support children and adolescents to develop everyday coping skills to facilitate their social and emotional development. She helps them to navigate a range of challenges, including shifting family dynamics, relationships, life transitions and school-related stress and anxiety.
Sarah believes in an integrated therapy approach, including traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and complementary mindfulness techniques. Prior to her training as a counsellor, Sarah worked in producing large-scale children’s events which included partnering with various charities, sporting associations and schools to form community engagement opportunities to promote children’s health and well-being. Sarah also has experience with young adults in career counselling in a University setting.
