Being Neurodiverse/E2/Gifted comes with its own set of challenges. Often children feel isolated and misunderstood. Gifted children may have trouble navigating their expectations (perfectionism and procrastination), especially if there is an asynchronicity in skills (high IQ but difficulties with EQ).
This group focuses on self-esteem, social skills, conflict resolution and leadership with like-minded children.
The group provides a safe environment for individuals to share their thoughts and tensions about the week and receive support and guidance from their peers and the therapist.
