Ann is an American-licensed speech and language therapist with extensive clinical experience across the United States and Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Ann began her career in a special education school district in Chicago, supporting preschool through high school students with autism spectrum disorder and severe intellectual disabilities within both integrated and highly structured classroom environments. Since relocating to Hong Kong in 2019, Ann has worked across private practice, international schools, and a non-governmental organization, serving students of all ages with diverse speech and language needs. Her core areas of expertise include developmental language disorder, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, pragmatic (social communication) language disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.
Ann is deeply passionate about play-based, child-led therapy and firmly believes that authentic connection with the child must always precede instruction. She is dedicated to empowering families by providing creative, purposeful activities and strategies that can be easily integrated into daily routines. Ann also strongly values a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach, ensuring that children successfully generalize their communication skills across all environments.
