HongSian is a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over nine years of specialized experience in supporting children with diverse needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy (CP), and developmental delays. Currently based in Hong Kong, he integrates evidence-based approaches such as Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime to craft personalized interventions that enhance developmental milestones and foster independence.

A graduate of the National University of Malaysia with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours), HongSian began his career in acute care at Singapore’s Tan Tock Seng Hospital, followed by a year at LohGuanLye Specialists Center in Malaysia. His exposure to both adult and pediatric settings solidified his passion for pediatric therapy. In 2017, he transitioned to private practice in Shanghai, working across clinics, preschools, and international schools, where he refined his expertise in school-based support and vocational training for individuals
with disabilities.

Fluent in five languages—English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, and Malay—Hongsian excels at bridging cultural and linguistic gaps to deliver inclusive, family-centered care. His clinical work focuses on sensory processing, motor skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs), empowering children to integrate into their communities and achieve their fullest potential.
