Kathleen spent her formative years in Hong Kong before moving to California. She graduated from UCLA and took an opportunity in the fashion industry to move back to Hong Kong. After 12 years as an entrepreneur, she realised her true passion and decided to pursue a career in psychotherapy. 

Kathleen earned her Master of Counselling degree from Monash University, Australia. She is a member of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA), the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Kathleen has experience in international schools as both a primary and secondary school counsellor. 

Kathleen spent 1 year working at SPOT as a clinical resident under the guidance of Dr. Amanda Oswalt Visher, Director of Psychological Services. During her time on the assessment team, Kathleen worked on a diverse range of psychoeducational assessments including social communication and specific learning differences. She is delighted to be joining SPOT as a qualified counsellor. 

Kathleen works with children, adolescents, parents, and families who are struggling with a range of issues including; anxiety, transitions, grief, depression, relationships, body image, and self esteem. Kathleen provides a client-centred approach to therapy that utilises techniques from a range of evidence based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Sessions are tailored to the each client in a non judgmental and supportive environment.
