Monica is a dedicated counsellor specialising in providing support and guidance to children and teenagers. Drawing on various theoretical approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she creates a safe, non-judgmental space where young clients can freely explore their thoughts and feelings. Monica is passionate about empowering youth to develop effective coping strategies and resilience, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being. Through her compassionate approach, she guides each individual in navigating their unique challenges, cultivating a supportive environment for self-discovery and healing.

Originally from Hong Kong, Monica attended international schools before moving to Scotland, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She furthered her education with a Master’s Degree in Counselling from the University of Hong Kong. Currently, Monica is also working alongside Dr. Amanda Oswalt Visher to conduct psychoeducational and social communication assessments for children and adolescents.
