Developmental milestones are often spoken about but what if we viewed them as a continuum? Each child can gradually learn different skills as they grow, and be faster or slower in some areas. On our language rock climbing wall, a child can have his hands on some skills as a 5 and 6 year old, but his feet may still be stepping on some skills at age 4. Let’s celebrate each child’s learning and progress!
