Monica is pursuing her Master’s in Social Sciences, Counselling, at the University of Hong Kong, which she expects to complete in 2025. 
Growing up in Hong Kong, Monica attended international schools before moving to Scotland to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. 
Returning to Hong Kong, Monica worked in recruitment before taking time off to raise her three children. During this time, she has been actively involved in her children’s schools and took up the chair position on the PTA board. Additionally, she volunteered at Mothers Choice helping take care of young children with additional needs. Monica is passionate about working with children and adolescents and has been helping with SPOT’s therapy groups, including the Gifted Group and Dis-Association Group.

Monica is now also assisting Dr Amanda Oswalt Visher in conducting psychoeducational and social communication assessments with children and adolescents.
