Sandy is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a background in clinic-based settings and schools in Sydney and Hong Kong. She has cultivated specialized expertise in supporting children with neurodiversity, including conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Fragile X syndrome, and other developmental delays.
Sandy provides one-on-one therapy, small group therapy, and school-based interventions, as well as family consultations. With a special interest in sensory regulation and integrative processing, she has extensive experience working with children whose sensory needs impact their daily functioning within the home, school, and community. Through her interventions, she assists these children in better integrating into different environments, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Previously working in a Sensory Integration-focused clinic in Sydney, Sandy is passionate about empowering families and clients to realise their full potential both in academic settings and within the community. She values collaboration, actively engaging with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other allied health professionals to foster holistic support for her clients.
Sandy believes in the principle that “children do well if they can.” She emphasises examining environmental factors, task demands, and individual differences when addressing developmental challenges. Through her compassionate approach and integrative techniques, Sandy is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
