Sandy is a registered occupational therapist in the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency. She is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for her clients through evidence-based and family-centred interventions. Sandy is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Graduated from the University of Newcastle, Sandy had experiences working with neurodiverse children with diagnoses including global developmental delay, Autism, ADHD, FASD, PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), Fragile X and learning disabilities.

Sandy is trained in the Astronaut Program, Quickshift – A Therapeutic Listening Program, Wilbarger Brushing Protocol, and had experience collaborating with counselled, speech therapists and art therapist in clinical setting in Australia. Believing that “children do well if they can”, she is committed to exploring each child’s unique potential by fostering an environment where they can develop essential skills such as self-care, academic skills including handwriting, sensory regulation, emotional regulation, and motor coordination and emphasises building strong and trusting relationship with clients and their families. In practice, Sandy values the importance of direct intervention and family coaching to support her clients and those who support them.

In her personal time, Sandy enjoys sketching and listening to audiobooks, finding inspiration in nature during her beach visits.
