Connections: Support Group for Young Adults
A group for adolescents who are are working on positive self-talk and looking for others who are dealing with dissociative feelings, depression, and/or anxiety.
This support group will help like-minded teens address shared feelings of distress and disassociation and build coping skills and a community of resilience and acceptance.
Details:
Where? Online. The link will be sent prior to the start of a session
When? Tuesdays at 1am London time / 9am HK time / 12 pm Sydney time (Mondays at 8pm New York time)
How much? 1,100HKD per session
Ages 18-30 years.
Run by Dr. Amanda Oswalt-Visher (clinical psychologist) and co-facilitators.
Please note:
A minimum of 6 sessions must be paid in advance. We do not offer refunds, unused sessions will be held as credit for future use. For illness with less than 24 hours’ notice, a doctor’s note is required to receive credit. Note that credit applies to planned absences, but same-day cancellations are not eligible. Groups and pairings may be co-facilitated by graduate interns, university students, and/or teen mentors to provide extra 1:1 support. All participants complete an interview process and police records check. If you have questions or concerns, please let your group leader know.
