Summer Read-A-Lot

Literacy begins early in life, and plays a very important role in a child’s development. It is the foundation of reading, writing, socialising with others and developing independence. Summer Read-A-Lot is more than just reading. Led by Speech-Language Therapist and Orton-Gillingham trained, Abi Chan, this camp aims to make reading and writing fun by adding in summer-related games and activities. Come join us for some summer fun!

Areas of Focus: 
– Phonological awareness
– Letter-sound knowledge
– Vocabulary Learning
– Shared reading
– Shared writing

Details:
Camp 1: July 13-17 at 11:00am to 1:00pm for 6-8 year olds
Camp 2: July 20-24 at 11:00am to 1:00pm for 6-8 year olds
Where: SPOT Central, 14/F, 1402 China Building, 29 Queen’s Road, Central
How much? $7,000 per camp (5 sessions) (Early registration discount: 5% off when you pay by 1 June 2026)
Minimum 3 children

The group will be run by our Speech and Language Therapist Abi Chan.

Please Note:
Payment for group must be made in full prior to first session in order to maintain the group numbers consistency. There will be no refund or make up sessions offered unless a doctor’s certificate is provided.
