The Literacy Launchpad
The Literacy Launchpad (Thursday)This Reading and Writing group supports children in building foundational literacy skills. Instructors are Speech and Language Therapists trained in literacy intervention programs (Orton-Gillingham or Sounds-Write) and have extensive experience working with students with various needs.
Areas of Focus include:
- Letter knowledge and recognition (phonics)
- Blending
- Sound manipulation
- Spelling
- Word decoding skills
- Reading comprehension
- Writing mechanics (eg. capitalization, punctuation)
- Paragraph writing
- Styles of writing

When? Tuesday: 3:45pm and 5:15pm / Wednesday: 4:30pm / Thursday: 4:00pm
How much? 1,100HKD per 75 mins session
For 5–6, 7–8 and 9–10 years old
