When is this assessment recommended?
An Early Assessment is suitable for children under the age of 6. These assessments can be used to investigate a child’s intellectual, social, and emotional development. This assessment is currently completed by our Early Years Specialist, Naina Suri.
What’s included?
- Pre-assessment meeting with parents (50 mins)
- Cognitive assessment OR Social Communication assessment (depends on the child)
- Parent questionnaires x 3
- School observation
- Recommendations
- Family debrief (50 mins)
- School debrief (30 mins)
- Diagnostic information (if applicable)

Please note that Naina can conduct an Early Years assessment in English and/or Hindi only.

Naina is able to tailor assessments for younger children as needed, please speak with her during the initial consultation to find out more.

If your child’s preferred language is Cantonese or Mandarin, please contact us so we can put you in touch with Terence, who would be able to support your child with the most appropriate assessment too.
