Practicing social skills is usually most successful within situations that are meaningful and internally motivating for a child. Interaction and practice with other children who share interests with your child are likely to increase the enjoyment of engaging with others.
Areas of Focus include:
– Body awareness and personal space
– Visual strategies
– Verbal strategies
– Turn taking and sharing
– Appropriate play choices

Payment for group must be made in full prior to first session. In order to maintain the group numbers consistency, there will be no refund or make up sessions offered unless a doctor’s certificate is provided.
The Occupational Therapist and the Speech Language Therapist jointly write personalised goals for each child and at the end of the block, we will write about the child’s progress and provide recommendations.
