Psychoeducational Assessment

The Psychoeducational Assessment is designed to understand an individual’s cognitive and academic abilities. At SPOT, we only use the gold standard assessment tools, which are some of the most accurate tools currently available. Our Clinical Psychologists are registered with internationally recognised bodies, including the American Psychological Association (APA), and the British Psychological Society (BPS). Our assessment reports are accepted worldwide, and valid for 2-3 years (depending on the child’s development).

When is this assessment recommended?

  • When caregivers want a comprehensive profile of a child’s academic, social, and emotional achievement

  • To diagnose possible learning or developmental challenges (i.e., issues with attention or concentration)

  • To identify a child’s area of strengths & growth

  • To identify which accommodations might benefit the child to thrive at school

  • To support the school’s identification process of beneficial accommodations
