Get ready for a multisensory adventure with Sense Explorers! In this playful, therapist-led camp, children will explore the seven sensory systems—visual, auditory, tactile, smell, taste, vestibular, and proprioceptive—through creative, hands-on activities.
Each session supports the development of sensory processing, self-awareness, and emotional regulation by helping children understand how sensory input affects their arousal level and how to return to a calm and alert state—ideal for learning, playing, and connecting with others.
Throughout the week, children will learn to recognize changes in their arousal, explore strategies that help them feel “just right,” and build a personalized sensory toolbox they can use in everyday routines. By the end of the program, they’ll feel more confident, regulated, and in control of their bodies across a variety of settings.
